PET SITTING AGREEMENT
Between
Sue Keaton hereinafter known as Pet Sitter
HM: 727-526-0279
and
_________________________________________ Hereinafter known as client.
OVER NIGHT RATES
1 DOG @ $25.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
2 DOGS(S) @ $45.00 PER CALENDAR DAY "Includes a $5 multi dog discount"
PUPPY (less than 1 year old) @ $30.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
1 DOG @ $25.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
2 DOGS(S) @ $45.00 PER CALENDAR DAY "Includes a $5 multi dog discount"
PUPPY (less than 1 year old) @ $30.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
DAY CARE RATES – DROP OFF & PICK SAME DAY
1 DOG $20.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
2 DOG(S) $40.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
PUPPY (less than 1 year old) @ $25.00 PER CALENDAR DAY
A. Pet Sitter agrees to provide the services stated in this contract in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against said Pet Sitter except those arising from proven negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Pet Sitter.
B. All pets are to be currently vaccinated and Client must provide current shot records from their pe'ts Veterinarian for each of their pets staying in Pet Sitter’s care. Should Pet Sitter or any animal in Pet Sitter’s care be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client’s animal(s) which have not been properly and currently vaccinated, it will be the client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages including attorney’s fees incurred by the effected parties
C. Pet Sitter reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time before or during its term.
D. If Pet Sitter, in its sole discretion, determines that Client’s pet(s) pose a danger to the health or safety of Pet Sitter or any animals in their care, and/or if concerns prohibit Pet Sitter from caring for pet(s), the Client authorizes pet(s) to be placed in a kennel of Pet Sitter’s choice, with all charges incurred to be paid by client. Pet Sitter fees to the point of kenneling will still be due and payable on invoice by the client.
E. Client takes full responsibility for PROMPT payment of fees upon Completion of services contracted. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be added to unpaid balances after thirty (30) days. A handling fee ($35) will be charged on all returned checks. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorney’s fees and costs of collection.
F. In the event of personal emergency or illness of Pet Sitter, Client authorizes Pet Sitter to arrange for another qualified person or entity to fulfill responsibilities as set forth in this contract. With all charges there from to be charged to client in addition to any current fees due Pet Sitter. Client will be notified whenever possible in such a case. If client provides an emergency contact to Pet Sitter diligent efforts to contact and utilize the emergency contact will be made by Pet Sitter.
G. Should it become necessary to transport your pet or if Pet Sitter needs to obtain supplies on behalf of Client’s pet(s) at any time during the pet(s) stay a $30.00 per trip, per pet, Transportation Fee will be charged. This includes but is not limited to trips to other Pet Sitters, Veterinarians, Facilities, Pet Stores and Groomers, etc.
H. Should it become necessary or if Client requests Pet Sitter to administer any medications or has special care requests (such as but not limited to eye/ear washes, vitamins, special feedings etc.) for pet(s) in pet sitters care a $3.00 per medication time and/or per special care request fee per pet(s) per calendar day will be applied.
I. In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) (unless instructed by client to do otherwise in writing and in advance). If circumstances beyond the control of Pet Sitter prohibit Pet Sitter from following instructions, Pet Sitter will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions. Should Pet Sitter deem evacuation necessary there will be an additional fee of $50.00 per calendar day per pet(s) added to the daily fee for each calendar day the Pet Sitter is evacuated and still has your pet(s) in their care.
J. Pet Sitter is not responsible for any toys/bedding that may become damaged and/or lost.
